Traditional hospitality in a stylish ambience
In 1727, monks built the "Gut Schwaige" estate on Lake Walchensee. Almost 150 years later, in 1882, the current "Gistl am See" house was built next door as an outbuilding. At the beginning of the 20th century, it initially housed a savings bank, later a hairdresser, Grandma's village shop, Uncle Rudi's Café, and finally guest rooms and vacation apartments, lovingly run by Agnes and Michael Gistl.
